September news
September is a busy month for TMTerrain.
John Jenkins Designs, First Legion and Collectors Showcase all release new figures this month and altogether three brand new ranges from them hit the market.
John Jenkins Design releases in September:
Due in the UK second half of the month.
Six codes are released this month:
The first release is from a new range from John- the Spanish Civil War. He will start by concentrating on the Condor Legion. This PZIa (code [product=COND01,COND01]) is the first of a few German tanks coming out over the next few months. This model is only £100 so is incredible value.
These next three releases are from the very popular Sudan range. The Gatling gun and crew (codes [product=SRN01,SRN01] and [product=SRNGUN01,SRNGUN01] ) make a wonderful set and perfect to display next to the Gordon Highlanders At £90 for the two codes they will make a very eye catching display.
This set of two wounded highlanders (code [product=GDH03,GDH03]) are the latest Gordon Highlander release so there are now six figures to start building that square. More Highlander along with the Naval Brigade releases will follow and we anticipate this will be one of Johns most popular ranges.
John never neglects the French Indian War ranges so these French Marines (code [product=QFM05,QFM05]) belong to the Siege of Quebec range. This now makes five sets of French Marines in this range so quite a unit to put up against the British 28th Foot. This is another great value set at only £40 for the two figures.
Finally for John Jenkins this month we have the Kings Colour for the 4th Regiment of Foot. This code (code [product=BJ09,BJ09]) continues the growth of the very popular Jacobite range from John Jenkins. This is the eighth set of British infantry not including the very imaginative melee sets that are available.
First Legion September new releases:
Every month seems to see more new releases from First Legion and September is no exception. We should see all of these codes in the UK by the end of September.
To guarantee you get what you want please contact us by the 10th September so we can include it in our order.
The first are four additions to the Napoleonic Personality range- The Duke of Wellington (code [product=NAP0237,NAP0237]), Major General Sir John Ormsby Vandeleur(code [product=NAP0238,NAP0238]), Field Marshal Michel Ney (code [product=NAP0239,NAP0239] and a French ADC (code [product=NAP0240,NAP0240]). These add to the spectacular figures already in the range. The Duke of Wellington is probably the most asked for code by customers of First Legion and with only 180 being made they should go pretty quickly.
September also sees the re issue of the French Napoleonic infantry. These are coming out in two goes, with this month seeing 13 codes re issued and 4 brand new codes to add to the range. These are only available in very limited numbers so we expect them to go quickly especially as the painting quality has increased from the original release and they only £35 for a line figure.
First Legion are also releasing the first figure in two new ranges. The first is the American Civil War.
The American Civil War range concentrates on the Battle of Gettysburg with the first unit arriving being the 55th North Carolina regiment. This is a major new range from First Legion so expect regular releases over the coming months. This initial release of 10 figures will be followed up next month with more figures to complete the unit.
The second new range is The Crusades. The initial release is of six figures followed by more in the next couple of months. This first group of figures concentrate on the Knights during the siege of Acre. This is a wonderfully colourful period and is already proving to be popular. If you have been thining about starting to collect First Legion, this is a great range to start with- colourful, lots of variety, amazing sculpting and painting and great displayed in small groups or lavish dioramas.
Finally in September, First Legion have not neglected the Stalingrad range.
[product=VEH005,VEH005] is the latest tank to come from First Legion and is the first in winter camouflage. Maybe the first of many? The quality and attention to detail is amazing.
The final release is the front of the Stalingrad Tractor factory- [product=TER007,TER007]. It is over 30 inches long but narrow enough to fit on a shelf.
Collectors Showcase September releases
This month sees the delivery of Collectors Showcase CS11 release. The American Civil War and World War Two are well covered.
The American Civil war range is added to with four sets making up the 20th Massachussetts infantry regiment. The four sets are firing, advancing, wounded and command and together offer twelve different figures for your collection. They are still £25 or under a figure which represents tremendous value for money.
The WW2 vehicles include 2 versions of a Wespe SP gun
([product=CS00410,Normandy version] and [product=CS00411,Winter version]), three versions of a German Steyr car ([product=CS00442,Normandy version], [product=CS00443,winter version] and [product=CS00444,Rommel command car])and the [product=CS00435,DAK PzIV].
